Chasing the SUN ! ! !

another day goes by in the land of magic...the sun departs on his usual patrol of the other side.... a working man takes the longest foot route across the fields, to a dark - damp warm hut and a pair of longing eyes, to food that otherwise be inadequate nourishment, but for love - rests his head on the comfortably familiar hard floor of his humble hut. Worrying not but of the fields which, is except for the occaisional late night train is rather desolate a place - the dance of the grasses orchestrated by the fickle breeze, lit up by the moon.
Water from the earthen pot - deep breath...... his calm slumber can be heard.... beside his family a thin layer of reed mat between them and the ground___ a working man of the town where the train never stops.
On the contrary, his counterpart - shouts at the cabbie for taking time spent in traffic - and takes the elevator to his floor.. "What is taking so long???" ... "coming..hang on" ... door opens.
With a tired grunt he sits down on his recliner... she's busy. Big day tomorow. He goes to her room to see her bent over laptop..... gestures to him..."food in the microvawe". He nods obeyingly. beep beep and beep...a delicious looking plate of highly nutritous food. After thrusting it down with a coke - washing them dishes, its time to turn in, a quick mental scan of the checklist.... car keys - door lock - alarm.... she's asleep already...he understands - big day tom. the soft pillow is all too inviting but the intermittent honking.. whistles..alarms..sirens aint. Desperate for some shut eye tries to loose himself in the impending thoughts of the day that is to follow...... time rools on... slowly but surely the sandman takes over... away from the rushing footsteps on cobbled roads.... away from the bank loans... away from the honks...just away from the life of a working man of the town where the train turns around.....

I guess time is the actual distance between people when one's chasing the sun...... but then again before a billion does come one... ! !
